Super Saturday Night! Four Northwest Wrestlers Claim State Titles
It was a perfect Saturday night for the Northwest Wrestling team. The Wolves sent four wrestlers to the championship round of the Iowa High School State Wrestling Tournament. All four claimed state titles! Click here to see the state tournament brackets. Northwest also finished as Class 3A’s runner-up in the team portion of the tournament. The Wolves sent 12 wresters to the state tournament, nine of them finished in the top eight of their respective weight classes. Great job Wolves!

WOW. Waukee NW goes 4-for-4 in the finals after Ben Reiland pins W-SR's Jake Walker in the 285 final.
Walker scored a late takedown for a 3-1 lead late in the third, then Reiland reversed him and pinned him with one second left on the clock. #iahswr
