Art Club provides students with an additional opportunity to explore their creative sides. Students do not have to be enrolled in an art class to participate. This club is open to any student in grades 9-12 interested in art.

Throughout the year students work on multiple art projects. Students who attend the first meeting determine the projects they would like to accomplish and sent a timeline for completion.

Past Art club members (at Waukee High School) have used various art supplies to create personal works of art, including drawing, clay works, jewelry making and mosaics. They also have created murals and art for the school and community, created works of art to help raise money for charities like: Make A Wish Foundation, Woman’s Resource Center of Des Moines, Iowa Rock n Roll Hall of Fame, The Waukee School Foundation and Living History Farms.
