Waukee Northwest Presents Fools

Fools Background

Fools is a comic fable by Neil Simon, set in the small village of Kulyenchikov, Ukraine, during the late 19th century. The story is of a new schoolteacher, Leon Steponovich Tolchinsky, on his first ever position to teach the town; however, he soon comes to realize something is amiss. A curse has been placed over the town which renders them all “dumb”. It is up to Leon to educate the Doctors daughter within 24 hours or he too will become a fool. Join us as we tell a tale of curses, love, and just plain foolishness.
