Wolves 2024 Volleyball Season in Review
A season that can be best described as resilient and powerful. With no senior leaders, the girls elected juniors Avery Vogt, Anna Pelds, and sophomore Leah Janulewicz as their captains to lead the young team. Lead is exactly what they did. The Wolves finished the season 28-10 (4-3 in CIML play) and were 3rd in CIML and 6th ranked at the end of the regular season. The Wolves didn’t lose a match in Regional play to punch their ticket to the state tournament. With wins over top-ranked teams in Ankeny and Ankeny Centennial, the Wolves found themselves competing for another state championship, making it two years in a row. Falling just short, the Wolves completed a successful and exciting season with a State appearance and a 2024 state runner-up trophy to go with it.
