BOYS GOLF 6th at STATE
The Northwest Boys Golf team capped off a very successful season with a 6th-place finish at the Class 4A State Tournament held last weekend at Otter Creek Golf Course in Ankeny. It was the program’s third straight appearance at State and their highest finish so far. The Wolves advanced to the state tournament by winning a District championship with a school record score of 2 under par (286). The team’s combined win-loss record for the season was 96-16 which was also a school record.
Two Northwest players received All State recognition for their play throughout the season.
