State Champs! Northwest Softball Wins Class 5A Crown

Championship Game – Waukee Northwest 2, Fort Dodge 0

The Northwest Softball team is the 2022 Class 5A Iowa High School State Softball Champion! The Wolves knocked off #1 Fort Dodge in the 5A championship game 2-0. Semifinal Round – Waukee Northwest 7, Muscatine 2

The Waukee Northwest Softball team is heading to the state championship game! The Wolves knocked off Muscatine 7-2 in a Class 5A semifinal. This will be the first title game in Northwest school history. Waukee Northwest will face Fort Dodge on Thursday night at 5:00. Click here to watch a replay of the semifinal game.

Quarterfinal Round – Waukee Northwest 4, Linn-Mar 0

The Waukee Northwest Softball team is heading to the state semifinals! The Wolves blanked Linn-Mar 4-0, in a Class 5A quarterfinal. The Wolves advance to take on Muscatine in the semifinals. That game is scheduled for 1:00 on Wednesday. Click here to watch a replay of the game.

The Waukee Northwest Softball team is a state tournament qualifier! The Wolves beat Council Bluffs Thomas Jefferson in a regional final to qualify for their first state tournament in school history.
