Carrie Eby Inducted to IGHSAU Hall of Fame
Northwest Softball Coach Carrie Eby is heading to the Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union Hall of Fame! Eby, a former star player at Waukee High School, is now the head coach at Waukee Northwest. She led the Wolves to their first state tournament appearance in 2022.
Eby played on the Waukee High School State Championship teams in 1999 and 2000, earning all-state honors during her junior and senior seasons. Eby holds the Waukee High School record for single season batting average at .603. She was also a multiple time All-American at St. Thomas University, earning National Player of the Year honors.
Eby retured to Waukee High School as an assistant coach and then taking over as head coach. She led the Warriors to multiple state tournaments, highlighted by the 2015 Iowa High School State Championship.
