Where did you grow up?

Elk Horn, Iowa

Where did you go to school?

Wayne State College 

How did you get into basketball? When did you start?

When I was born, my parents put a basketball in my crib and have been around the game of basketball since then. Also, my father was my high school basketball coach.

What is your favorite thing about coaching?

The relationships that I have built with the players and coaches is definitely my favorite thing about coming to practice everyday.

What is the most rewarding part of your job?

It is so rewarding to witness young men develop into successful adults.

Who does your family consist of?

 My wife Jenna and I have Breckin (9), Cambry (4) and Bowen (1).

Favorite food & restaurant?

I absolutely love my mom’s meatloaf. But when I go out, my favorite pick is Texas Roadhouse.

Favorite movie & TV show?

My favorite movie is Hoosiers, and my favorite TV show is Inside the NBA.

Hobbies outside of coaching?

I enjoy spending time with my family.

If you could have dinner with anyone, who would it be?

Bill Belichick 

What is your favorite thing about the Waukee Community School District? 

I love the competitive nature of the school and community.
