Where did you grow up?

Naperville, IL.

Where did you attend school?

Naperville North HS, Augustana College, Drake University.

What got you interested in bowling?

My parents bowled, so I have very early memories exploring bowling alleys as a youngin. I also participated in intramural bowling in middle school. 

What do you like about coaching?

I like building relationships and having fun.  

What is the most rewarding thing about your job?

Honestly, just teaching. While many see it as a selfless profession, I actually really enjoy it. So the most rewarding thing for me is getting to have fun and helping players develop. 

Who does your family consist of?

My wife, Caroline, my stepdaughters, Ivy and Isabella, and my daughter, Juliet.

What is your favorite food?

Tacos.

Favorite hobbies outside of teaching and coaching?

I play soccer, road bike, longboard, ski, and any outdoor activity. 

Favorite Movie and TV show?

Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory and The Twilight Zone.

If you could have dinner with one person in the world who would it be and why?

My wife because she is sitting beside me as I type this.  

What do you love about Waukee?

It is very similar to the city I grew up in.
