Strong Weekend for Northwest Quiz Bowl

The Northwest Wolves Quiz Bowl team took 2nd Place at the Iowa Quiz Bowl League Winter Open and qualified for nationals in the process. The Wolves won all of their preliminary matches and picked up a win over Ames in the semifinals. Waukee High School knocked off Northwest in the finals, 335-315.
